About Me
I am a Lecturer at the School of Computer Science and Technology, Taiyuan University of Science and Technology. I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from Universiti Malaya.
My research develops trustworthy learning and decision-making methods for complex human–AI and networked systems. I study how AI can learn from biased, sparse, and dynamic human and environmental feedback while maintaining calibrated risk, human agency, and social trust.
Research
My work spans four connected directions. What ties them together is a simple concern: real-world AI systems learn from imperfect human and network feedback, and the decisions they support carry risks that must be measured and controlled. I combine empirical HCI methods (experiments, surveys, qualitative studies) with machine learning (graph neural networks, LLMs, conformal prediction). See the Research page for details.
Trustworthy Learning from Human & Network Feedback. Clicks, ratings, and peer responses are biased, incomplete, and constantly shifting. I develop methods that debias network-sampled feedback and provide distribution-free guarantees on risk, fairness, and calibration.

Cognitive Reliability in Human–AI Collaboration. AI assistance changes how people verify, understand, and learn. I study when help genuinely builds capability and when it quietly erodes it—verification load, cognitive offloading, and skill retention after the AI is gone.

AI-Mediated Communication & Social Trust. When AI participates in human expression, people must judge who authored a message, whether it is authentic, and whether it is appropriate. I study authorship attribution, emotional norms, and disclosure in AI-mediated communication.

Graph Spatiotemporal Intelligence for Transportation. Transportation networks are dynamic graphs with failing sensors, changing topology, and distribution drift. I build graph learning methods for reliable traffic state estimation and risk-aware prediction.
